Issue/Question
How do I share content in a Zoom Room from my personal laptop, tablet, or phone?
Environment
- Zoom
Resolution
Zoom Rooms do not have laptop connections. If you need to share content from a laptop or other personal device, you can do so using the Zoom Workplace desktop client or a web browser.
- Sign in to the Zoom Workplace desktop client.
- Click Share screen.
- Type Meeting ID.
- Click Share screen.
- Choose preferred screen. If audio is needed, click Share Sound.
- Click Share.
- When sharing is completed, click Stop Sharing.
- Navigate to https://my.wku.edu/.
- Click Zoom - Video Conferencing to sign in.
- Navigate to https://zoom.us/share
- Type Meeting ID.
- Choose Share screen.
- Choose the preferred screen. If audio is needed, click Share Sound.
- Click Share.
- When sharing is completed, click Stop Sharing.

Issue/Question
My display name is showing up as something other than my preferred first name, how can I get that changed?

Note: If you need your legal first or last name updated you should contact the Office of the Registrar.
- Navigate to TopNet.
- Click TopNet Login.
- Sign in with your WKU Account.
- Click Personal Information tab.
- Click Name Change Information.
- Type in your new preferred first name.
- Click Submit New Preferred Name.
Employees
Note: If you need your legal first or last name updated you should contact Human Resources.
- Navigate to TopNet.
- Click TopNet Login.
- Sign in with your WKU Account.
- Click Personal Information tab.
- Click Name Change Information.
- Type in your new preferred first name.
- Click Submit New Preferred Name.
Alumni
Alumni should contact the Alumni Association at 270-745-2586 to update their preferred first name on file. If you have a preferred first name, and no longer want that as the display name, then you will need to have that removed on file.

Issue/Question
Can the WKU ITS Service Desk provide me with the password of my WKU Account?
Resolution
We are unable to view passwords for accounts. Users can use the accounts page to try resetting a password for any of their WKU accounts.
Note: Users using Guest Accounts will need to contact their sponsor in order to get the password.

Issue/Question
Where can I look up how much printing allocation I have remaining?
Resolution
From iWKU App
- Open iWKU app App.
- Tap Balances.
- Tap Printing.
From TopperPrint Website
- Log into TopperPrint.
- Your sum balance from your initial print allocation, funds you have added yourself, and any refunds is found in the Balance panel in the upper left.
Note: You cannot check your print allocation through the website unless you are connected to an Internet connection on campus or are utilizing the WKU VPN.

How do I log into myWKU?
Resolution
- Navigate to the myWKU login page.
- Click Sign In.
- Enter your WKU Email Account.
- Enter your Password.
- Click Sign In.
- Authenticate with Microsoft MFA, if prompted.
